I’m Jyterria. Wife. Mama. Herbalist. Founder of Bare and Rooted.


I created this brand out of frustration and love. Frustration from watching women, especially Black women, be ignored, misdiagnosed, and handed the same prescription every time. Love for our bodies, our healing, and our right to something real.


When I was told birth control was the only answer for my skin, cycles, and pain, I knew there had to be more. I turned to herbs not to mask symptoms but to understand them and truly get to the root.


That journey changed my life. What began as personal healing turned into a deeper calling.


Bare and Rooted is my response to every woman who has ever felt dismissed or unheard. These teas are not just blends. They are botanical support systems for your hormones, your skin, your womb, and your motherhood.
